Recent Events

During the last Christmas Season, the Light of Christ Council prepared breakfast for the John Paul II Center for Special Learning, and made special arrangements for Santa Claus to join in the fun. Click the scrapbook link at the left  for additional pictures from this heart-warming event.

About the Council

The Light of Christ Council is headquartered at St. Ignatius Loyola Church in Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania.

Council meetings are held on the 2nd and the 4th Mondays of each month at 7:30pm. The majority of the meetings are held in the meeting rooms at the Parish Education Center on St. Alban’s Drive. Consult the calendar of events for special locations or scheduling changes. Council meetings are restricted to members only.

About the Knights of Columbus

The Knights of Columbus is the world’s largest Catholic family fraternal service organization with 1.7 million members. It provides members and their families with volunteer opportunities in service to the Catholic Church, their communities, families, and young people.

The Knights of Columbus was established over 125 years ago by Father Michael J. McGivney, in New Haven, CT. The Order’s international headquarters is still located in New Haven today.
