8726 Home	Membership in the Knights of Columbus is open to any practical Catholic Man in union with the Holy See who is not less than 18 years of age on his last birthday. A practical Catholic is one who lives up to the Commandments of God and the Precepts of the Church. There are several classes of membership: Associate Member Associate members belong to the Order and enjoy many of its benefits, but do not hold Knights of Columbus life insurance certificates. Insurance Member Insurance members belong to the Order and all of its benefits, and do hold Knight of Columbus life insurance certificates. Honorary Member Members who have attained the age of 65 years and who have been a member of the order for 25 consecutive years. Honorary Life Member Members who have attained the actual age of 70 years and who have been a member of the order for 25 consecutive years or have been a member of the order for 50 years regardless of age.
